Medical Assistant

As Medical Assistant, you will be part of our pre-screening team, where you will be the liaison between Patiro and potential participants in clinical trials. Therefore, great communication skills are essential. You will join other team members from all over the world, so we're very international! The company language is English, so we appreciate great English speaking and writing skills.‍

Responsibilities:

• Call patients from a predefined list, and ask them predefined questions to assess their health profile for clinical trial eligibility
• Engage in active listening with patients, confirming, or clarifying information
• Keep records of all conversations in our patient portal in a comprehensible way
• Manage outbound calls in a timely manner
• Ad hoc tasks (occasional translations: short research texts, articles, or disease overview/descriptions)

Qualifications:

• Have medical knowledge (e.g., medical student, nurse or studying towards)
• Strong English language skills (both verbal and written)
• Are flexible about the working hours (weekdays, weekend)
• Have strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
• Can multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• It is a bonus to master several languages fluently

In this role, you will work from your own computer and mobile device. We will provide you with a local number for making calls to potential clinical trial candidates. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive training on our platform and onboarding for all job-related activities.

This is a flexible, part-time position with variable workloads. Typically, the weekly hours range from 2 to 5, with payment based on an hourly rate.
